This picture was taken this past weekend on a canoe trip in Algonquin Park, Ontario. It's a 13min exposure at roughly 11:00 pm. The stars are smudged because the earth is turning. The 3 long streaks you see are Jets flying at 30000 ft.

I was camping a couple of weeks ago at "Sharbot Lake" with my family and this was almost a nightly occurrence. The forest floor was covered in fireflies. It was awe inspiring.
